A Night In Paris

A night in Paris theme, you literally can’t go wrong! This theme is perfect for any age or any space. While planning parties I focus on details, and always stick to the theme. A night in Paris is one of the easiest to pull off, I decided to go with pastels and gold as the color scheme. In addition to decor guests costumes play a huge role in making the party come alive.

This Party was held in a townhome, the small space was perfect for the intimate dinner party that was thrown, the main focus was on the appetizer table and the dining area.

An antipasto platter is a must! Head to your local grocery and pick out 3-5 unique cheeses, spreads such as pesto, fancy mustards, nuts and deli meats. Think contrast and texture when picking your items so that the food jumps out at your guests! Baked Brie with blackberries was the hot dip, picked for the party.  Home made  macaroons were made for dessert and given to guests as an additional party favor.

Table settings, don’t splurge on these. If you’re like me you are more concerned about the experience and the food rather than the fancy china on the table. I found some paper gift boxes and doilies at Joanns (www.joanns.com/ ) I used these to make a cute statement on the table.

Color Pop and personalization is one of my favorite things to do while planning a party.  For small gatherings pick up some candles and thank you cards, with a personal note inside each.  This makes your guests feel special and welcome!

I make each guest has their own personalized glass with adorable charm so they can recognize their glass all night long!

Instead of spending tons on a table cloth you will never use again, snag some cheap lace from your local craft store ! Be thrifty when planning parties! Confetti is always an easy pop of your theme, found this Paris confetti at Joanns.com in their Paris section they had in 2016.
