Crockpot chili

Sweater weather means chili!!! chili brings back some of my greatest memories of being back on the ranch in Wyoming.  Working cows all day in the cold snow, then coming home to the amazing aroma of my moms amazing chili, not to mention the warm house and wood burning fireplace (ugh, take me back in time!). Although this recipe I am about to handout isn’t my mom’s special chili, its one of my own design.  I believe it could take my mom’s chili down (sorry mom).

alright you lovely people here is my crock pot chili recipe, I hope that you can make some wonderful memories like I have with this awesome combination. There is a lot of chili recipes out on the internet, but this one has amazing flavor and is the Ultimate crowd pleaser! This particular chili is very easy to put together and perfect for large parties (servers 10-12)

What you will need to make my amazing chili!

  • 2lbs of hamburger
  • 1/2 an onion chopped
  • 1/2 green pepper chopped
  • 1 28oz can of diced tomatos
  • 1 14oz can Basil garlic and oregano diced tomatos
  • 1 28oz can of mild chili beans
  • 1 14oz can of hot chili beans
  • 2 mcckormick mild chili packets
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

First you will need to brown your hamburger and chop up your green pepper and onion

Once you have completed that throw those ingredients into the crockpot add your chili beans and tomatoes mix those ingredients up then add your spices.

Turn on your crockpot. I personally put the crockpot on high for two hours, until the chili reached a nice boil, then turn the crockpot to low heat for the next four hours. Let chili stand and cool finally treat yo self to this amazing chili!
